In August the Clone Troopers will make their first appearance. Various Hero Showdown quality of life improvements have been teased, but without any specifics mentioned yet. A cool new implementation is that you will be able to swap appearances before your next round, meaning you don’t need to cancel your queue and exit to the game menu screen to do that. Finally, the lightsaber blocking will start affecting the hero’s stamina. Heroes will be able to turn off and on their lightsabers (if they use one, of course) on demand. Several game improvements have also been planned. it will be a 4 vs 4 PvP Mode, focused on Hero Ship Battles. The July 2018 Update plans include a new Game Mode will be released – Hero Starfighters. On EA Play 2018 DICE announced interesting new features and content coming to the game, including the Clone Wars era with new maps, modes, heroes and more.
